LAKE WALES--Troy L. Glover of Lake Wales died of heart failure Thursday (Oct. 19, 2006) at Good Shepherd Hospice. He was 74.
Born August 30, 1932 in Pampa, TX; retired from the federal government civil service and served as an airborne ranger during the Korean War. Most recent employment was as a security officer for U.S. Security. He was a member of the Golfview Baptist Church and an avid fisherman.
Troy is survived by his wife, Irma S. Glover of Lake Wales; daughters, Agnes Bailey of Denton, TX; Theresa Radke of Las Crucas, NM; sons, Troy Glover Jr. of El Paso, TX; James Glover of Greenville, TX; Timothy Glover of Lake Wales; step-sons; Mike Smithson of Lake Wales; Richard Craig of Winter Haven; 11 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, 1 sister and 3 brothers.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 21, 2006 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
