Treva Jo Johnson, 84

Treva Jo Johnson of Frostproof passed away Saturday, December 21, 2024, at her residence.

She was born December 19, 1940, in Chattanooga, Tennessee to the late Roy and Juanita Bracken. Treva was a retired lab technician for Ben Hill Griffin, Inc. and was of the Baptist faith. She loved woodworking and plants, especially lilies.

Treva was preceded in death by her son, Timmy Bracken; sister, Wayona White; and brothers, Ernest Bracken, Jr. and David Bracken. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Richard Johnson; son, Phillip Bracken, I (Wonnie Shafer) of Frostproof; sisters, Elaine Cleveland (Frank) of Brevard, North Carolina, Myra Shelton of Frostproof, and Linda Walker of Frostproof; brothers, Wilfred Bracken of Soddy Daisey, Tennessee, Charles Bracken (Clara) of Henderson, North Carolina, and Jimmy Bracken (Coconut) of Lake Wales; grandchildren, Aimee, Carol, and Phillip, II; and six great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 27, 2024, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Interment will follow at Silver Hill Cemetery.
