Trenton Douglas Perkins, born on September 4, 1929, in Holopow, Florida, passed away on May 2, 2026, at AdventHealth Lake Wales under the care of Vitas Hospice. He was a dedicated and hardworking man who made his living as a self-employed salesman of citrus chemicals.
Trenton had a deep love for baseball during his younger years. He cherished the game so much that he took the time to coach little league, sharing his passion and skills with the children in his community. In addition to baseball, he enjoyed traveling and spending time in the mountains, finding peace and joy in the beauty of nature.
He was married to his beloved wife, Bobbie Perkins, for 72 years before her passing in 2020. He was also preceded in death by his son, Bob Perkins, and three sisters. Though they have passed on before him, their memories remain deeply cherished by those who knew him. Together, they built a life full of love and family. Trenton is survived by his daughter, Kim Perkins of Lake Wales; his son, Kirk Perkins of Sebastian; grandchildren, Trent, Bill, Brian, Morgan, and Lindsey; and four great grandchildren.
