Tommie Lee Justice Pearcey

Tommie Lee Justice (Pearcey), 69 passed away July 14 ^th 2010 with her family by her side.

A private family burial was held on July 17, 2010 at the Lake Wales Cemetery.

Tommie was born on July 11, 1941, in Fort Payne, Alabama to George Wesley Pearcey and Bessie Elizabeth Ray.

In her early life she resided in Henagar, Alabama and married James Willie Justice of Flat Rock, Alabama.

Tommie was survived by her ex-husband, James Willie Justice, her sisters Betty Sue Adams, Dorothy Mae Badgett, Eloise Pearcey and brothers Raymond Pearcey, Clyde Pearcey and Billy Wesley Pearcey.  Also, her children, Byron James Justice, Sherry Annette Waters, Debra Gale Runyon, and Connie Renee Justice; and grandchildren; Kevin Dale Waters, Travis Darren Waters and Chrissy Lee Runyon.

Tommie and James made their way to Florida in the late 1960s.  They moved to 1330 Capps Road Lake Wales, FL.  Tommie lived 30 plus years in the home on Capps Road.

Tommie was very kind hearted, with a soft sweet quite voice.  During her time on Capps Road she was known as the neighborhood babysitter.  She cared deeply for the children she kept and they grew fond of her for a lifetime.

Having a Mother like Tommie was a true blessing.  She was much loved by her family and friends and will be deeply missed.
