Tolliver Elmore Taylor

Tolliver Elmore Taylor of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, September 12, 2010 at the Winter Haven Hospital.

He was born April 2, 1934 in Bradenton to the late Ezra and Anabel (Wingate) Taylor; and came to Lake Wales from Tampa in 1980. He was a manager for Lake Wales Citrus Growers, and served in the U.S. Air Force. He love fishing, gardening, and music.

Tolliver was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Futrill in 2004; daughter, Vicky Brooks in 2006; and brother, Floyd Taylor in 2005. Survivors include his daughters, Angela McCullough of Lake Wales, Edith Jean Taylor of Lake Wales, Bonnie Taylor of Texas; sisters, Virginia Fletcher of Mayo, Patty Parks of Bradenton, Dorothy Coleman of Bradenton, Daisy Coker of Parrish, Debbie Sine of Georgia, Rece Younger of Parrish; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 1:00 PM Friday, September 17, 2010 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Interment to follow at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
