Timothy W. “Tim” McGhee, 57

Timothy W. “Tim” McGhee of Atmore, Alabama passed away Monday, August 17, 2020 at his residence.

He was born February 26, 1963 in Atmore, Alabama to Leo and Kathleen McGhee. Tim was a retired truck driver and attended Atmore Apistolic Church in Atmore, Alabama. He spent most of his life in Frostproof and enjoyed family time and fishing. He was an Alabama fan. Rolltide!

Tim was preceded in death by his daughter, Nitosha McGhee; two sisters; one brother; and father, Leo McGhee. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Evon McGhee; daughter, Cassidy Febles of Atmore and companion Devan; sons, Timothy McGhee, Jr. (Kayla) of Atmore, Alabama, and Buddy McGhee (Jennifer) of Orlando; mother, Kathleen McGhee of Frostproof; sisters, Myrtle Jefferies of Frostproof, Anita Tuel of Charleston, South Carolina, and Jennifer Watts of Winter Haven; and nine grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2020 at Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof with Pastor Kelly Galati officiating. Per family request, anyone who wishes to attend the graveside service must wear a mask and socially distance.
