Theron Soelter, 63, of Frostproof, passed away at Florida Hospital Heartland in Sebring on Saturday, August 19, 2017. Born March 17, 1954 in Longmont, Colorado, to the late Frank and Barbara (Brothers) Soelter, he moved to Frostproof in 2008 coming from Oregon. He was a musician and could play pretty much any instrument. He was a member of several bands, but was with the Rockin Horse band. He recorded an album on his own. He also served his country during the Viet Nam war as a U.S. Marine. He is survived by his wife, Margene Sheffer of Frostproof; sisters Edna Thomas and her husband Larry of Washington and Bernetta Anteveros of Texas. Margene will receive friends on Thursday, 8/24 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm with the service to follow, at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Pastor David Durham officiating. Interment will take place on Friday at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
