Thelma A. Skinner, 76, passed away October 10, 2007 due to heart failure at Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland.
Born December 30, 1930 in Laurel Hill, FL; she came to Lake Wales from Laurel Hill in 1949. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. She enjoyed crocheting.
Thelma was preceded by her husband, Fred Skinner in 1990; and parents, Jeff & Sarah Bryan. Survivors include one step-daughter in Canada; her brother, Ray Bryan of Lake Wales; grandchildren, Lisa Lloyd and Christopher Skinner; 5 great-grandchildren; 4 nieces and 3 nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 13, 2007 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Family will be receiving friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM, Friday, October 12, 2007 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Lake Wales. Interment will follow the service at Lake Wales Cemetery.
