Thelma Lee Sawyer

Thelma Lee Sawyer of Lake Wales passed away Monday, November 1, 2010 at her residence. She was 90.

Born February 16, 1930 in Dixie County, FL to the late Malgram and Bulah Hines; she moved to Lake Wales in 1960 from Arkansas. She was retired from Florida's Natural and was a member of the First Assembly of God.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob" Sawyer; brother, Perry C. Hines of Cross City; and many nieces and nephews, including Al Curtis Hines of Cross City.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2010 in Cross City. Graveside service will be held 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the Lake Wales Cemetery with Rev. Walter Nelson officiating.
