Thelma Mcqueen

Thelma McQueen of Vero Beach, Florida passed away Sunday, December 27, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 1, 1925 in Ottumwa, Iowa to the late Graham E. and Beaulah (Etter) Osborne. Before she moved to Vero Beach in 2011 she was an active member of the Frostproof Art League. She was preceded in death by her husband Lanier A. “Mac” McQueen. She is survived by her daughters Karen Barkiewicz of Clearwater, FL, Bonnie McNelly of Vero Beach, FL, Shasta Thomason of Ft. Pierce, FL, son Kendall McQueen of River Ranch, FL, 2 brothers and 1 sister out of 16, 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 1:00P.M. Until service time at 2:00P.M. Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home Chapel in Frostproof with Rev. David Durham officiating. Interment will be held at Silver Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Contributions may be made to VNA Hospice at 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Fl. 32960.
