Teresa Raines

Mary Teresa Raines of Avon Park passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 at the Florida Hospital in Sebring.

She was born April 24, 1966 in Avon Park and has been a lifelong resident of the Frostproof area. She was a restaurant manager and attended the Grace Bible Church in Sebring. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and shopping at Wal-Mart and Walgreens.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Raines. Survivors include her daughters, Brittani and husband, Jarrett Wiedemann of Sebring, BreAnna Scruggs of Frostproof and BreOnca Scruggs of Avon Park; mother, Mary Raines and husband, Harold Livingston of Frostproof; brother, James and wife, Kristi Raines of Frostproof; step-sisters, Glenda Owens and Tammy Tucker of South Carolina; five grandchildren, Abby, Jalynne, Logan, Payten and Brayden; nieces & nephews, Allyssia Raines, Danielle Owens, Morgan Tucker, Jacob Raines and Clay Tucker; and former husband, Dennis Scruggs.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00 am Friday, May 17, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Frostproof with Rev. Andrew Katsanis officiating.
