Teresa DJ Ortiz of Dundee passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

She was born September 20, 1932 in Puerto Rico to the late Salvador and Luisa Ortiz; she has been a resident of Dundee for nine years. Teresa was a homemaker and an active member of Iglesia De Pentecostal, M.I.

Teresa was preceded in death by her husband, Manuel Marrero in 2021; son, Jose M. Ruiz; and eleven brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Rosalia Rios and husband Mariano of Dundee; sister, Iris Maria Ortiz of Puerto Rico; 5 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
