FROSTPROOF -- Mrs. Teresa Jones of Frostproof died of COPD Saturday (Oct. 15, 2005) at Florida Hospital Heartland, Sebring. She was 48.

Born Dec. 27, 1956, in West Chester, Pa., Mrs. Jones moved to Frostproof from St. Cloud 20 years ago. She was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Taylor Jones; daughters, Jennifer Jones and Tiffany Jones, both of Frostproof; stepdaughters, Denise Choate, Sebring, Donna Denney, Fort Meade; son, Travis Jones, Frostproof; father, George Ballentine, Turtletown, Tenn.; mother, Barbara Bellentine, Copperhill, Tenn.; sisters, Deborah Scott, Jasper, Ga., Barbara Lowery, Copperhill; 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Marion Nelson Funeral Home, Frostproof. Services will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
