She was born November 8, 1946 in Frostproof to the late Mahone Simpson and Edith Brannen Stokes. She was a homemaker and loved her family.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Crumbly; daughters, Kimberly Crumbly, and Stephanie Joyner; and son, David Joyner. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Crumbly Lockard; sister, Julia Robertson of Seymour, Tennessee; brother, Julius Stokes and wife Mary of Lake Wales; and many nieces and nephews.
