Suzanne “Susie” Jayne Hand of Frostproof passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009.

She was born October 21, 1957 in Lake Wales to Louie & Mary Elizabeth (Parrish) Meadows; and has been a lifelong resident of the Frostproof/Lake Wales area. She was a sales clerk for Big Lots and of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her husband, Buddy Hand; son, David W. Hand of Frostproof; brothers, Billy Green and Michael Green of Knoxville, TN, Cary Meadows and Jay Meadows of Winter Haven; one niece and three grandchildren.

A funeral service was held 11:00 AM, Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof.
