Sukhni Meetoo of Lake Hamilton passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at her residence.

She was born June 11, 1921 in Guyana. Sukhni was of the Hindu faith.

Sukhni was proceeded in death by her husband, Uzagir Meetoo; children, Neelkhant Meetoo, Narine Uzagir, and Federick Uzagir; and son-in-law, Latchman. She is survived by her children, Dhaneshwar Uzagir, Lilawatee Mangru, Shandyal Uzagir, and Nandanie Mulchand; 25 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Sach Mulchand; daughters-in-law, Juliet, Vijay, Shanty, Sattie, and Baby.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, January 13, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A second visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales. A funeral service will take place from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. with the cremation to follow after the funeral service at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
