Steve Randall Wiggins

Steve Randall Wiggins, affectionately known as "Cotton," was born on October 26, 1958, in Crossville, Tennessee. He passed away on January 17, 2026, at AdventHealth Sebring. His life was a testament to the simple joys found in hard work and the beauty of the great outdoors.

As a carpenter, Steve took pride in his work, enjoying the satisfaction that comes from creating and building. He was dedicated to his craft and found fulfillment in every project he completed. Beyond work, he had a deep love for nature, often spending his time outside fishing and riding motorcycles. Breakfast outings were a cherished routine for him, where he enjoyed connecting with loved ones over delicious meals.

Steve was a devoted father and grandfather, and he cherished his family's presence. He is survived by his daughters, Katie Patterson and her husband Miguel of Lake Wales, and Nikki Wiggins and her fiancé, Derrick Lawson of Frostproof. His grandchildren, Tabitha, Cade, Aria, Axel, Bentley, Meredith and Bryson, brought him immense joy and warmth in his heart, and they will remember him for the love he continually shared. He is also survived by his significant other, Rosa Lasalle.

He also leaves behind his sisters, Gail Rhodes and her husband Dale of Frostproof and Patsy Rhodes of North Carolina, who will carry fond memories of their brother.

Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Tammy Meeks Wiggins; his daughter, Katie Michelle; his son, Kyle; his brothers, Jimmy, Sammy, and Dennis Wiggins; his sister Bobby Cabral, and his mother, Rachel Florence Goss. Each of these relationships shaped his life profoundly.

A memorial service will be held in remembrance of Steve on January 24, 2026, starting at 12:00 PM at Christian Fellowship Assembly in Frostproof, Florida.
