Stephanie Lee Thompson, 37

Stephanie L. Thompson of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Sunday, December 29, 2019 at Advent Health Lake Wales, Florida.

She was born March 18, 1982 in Nuremburg, Germany. She has been a resident of the area since 2013 coming from Brandon, Florida. Stephanie was an amazing person, awesome mother to 4 children, and loving wife. She home schooled her children and was part of several Home-Schooling groups. She met her husband at the Baptist College of Florida in Graceville, Florida. She previously served as a sign language interpreter for the school district. She was a strong advocate for foster care and adoption. Stephanie had a heart of gold and only cared about spreading love.

She is survived by her husband of 15 years Joseph Thompson, sons Joshua Thompson, Nehemiah Thompson, Gabriel Thompson, daughter Isabelle Thompson, mother Laura Herres of Brandon, FL, father Roger Herres and wife Sheryl of North Carolina, sister Jessica Ferguson and husband Shawn of Parrish, FL, brother Michael Herres and wife Lisa of Valrico, FL, step sister Brook Brannen of Riverview, FL.

Family will receive friends from 10:00AM until service time at 11:00 AM Saturday, January 11, 2020 at the Fishhawk Fellowship Church 15326 Fishhawk Blvd. Lithia, Florida, 33547. Reception will follow the service.
