Rest In Peace, Sondra Bowen January 23, 1974- July 11, 2018
Sondra K. Bowen of Winter Haven, Florida passed away Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Winter Haven Hospital.
She was born January 23, 1974 in Winter Haven, Florida and has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was a homemaker. Sondra loved her family and friends. In the words of her brother, she was the most selfless individual you would ever want to meet, always giving of herself and never expecting, or accepting anything in return. She was a daughter, wife, mother, and friend who was also a stay at home Mom and school volunteer, having once been named Volunteer of the Year at Brighton Elementary in Winter Haven, Florida. She also assisted in the management of Classic Collectibles and Antiques in Winter Haven for many years with her father in law. She touched the lives of so many people all over the world, most of whom she never got to meet. Sondra loved the beach, animals, cooking and the simple things in life, but first and foremost was her family. She will be missed by so many, but will be a special angel in the sky to all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years Todd Bowen, daughter Cameron and son Matthew, all of Winter Haven, Mother, Judy Thompson (husband Cliff) of Vonore, Tennessee, father, Fred Kelley and brother Jason , both of Red Level, Alabama.
Celebration of life service will be held 3:00 PM Monday, July 16, 2018 at the First Baptist Church of Lake Wales, with Rev. Sam Haag officiating.
