Slade Kenneth Kerr of Haines City passed away Sunday, April 10, 2022.

He was born April 16, 1999 in Winter Haven. Slade was a heavy equipment operator and held an Associates Degree from Santa Fe State College. He enjoyed catching hogs, going fishing, scuba diving, hunting, traveling, and chasing girls. Slade loved life, played hard, and would light up any room he walked into.

Slade was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bob Kerr. He is survived by his mother, Tammi Lynn Kerr of Haines City; father, Scott Kerr and wife Wendy of Lake Wales; sister, Kayla Short and husband Justin of Winter Haven; brother, Drew Kerr of Lake Wales; maternal grandfather, Al Bower and wife Shirl; maternal grandmother, Shirley Bower (Paul Hoffman); paternal grandmother, Carolyn “Cece” Kerr; Uncle Richie and Appie, Aunt Kat and Uncle Mike; cousin, Brooke Bower; niece, Olivia Kerr; and nephew, Hudson Short.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the celebration of life at 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 15, 2022 at Heartland Church in Winter Haven with Pastor Ed Kendrick officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Slade Kerr Fund with the Coastal Conservation Association at https://ccaflorida.org/product/memorial-donations/ .
