Singleton Townshend of Lake Wales passed away Friday, April 17, 2020 at his residence.

He was born November 19, 1938 in Terra Alta, West Virginia, to the late Singleton and Eugenia Townshend. He was a retired foreman for Welby Technologies.

Singleton is survived by his wife, Joan Beverly Townshend; step-daughter, Ruth Jennings of Owing, Maryland; step-sons, Welby Jones of Lake Wales, and John Jones of Washington, DC; sister, Margaret Singleton of Florida; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren
