SIDNEY EDWARD TUCKER, 77
Sidney E. Tucker of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018.
He was born December 30, 1940 in Concord, North Carolina to the late Floyd A. and Esther (Brown) Tucker. He has been a resident of the area since 1976 coming from Concord, North Carolina. He was the Business Owner of Sid’s Live Bait at Bridgemaster. He was a man of deep faith. He attended Wayside Baptist Church. Sidney was a Mason, loved fishing, playing pool, especially with his best pool buddy Joshua, watching Nascar, Golf, was an avid College basketball fan, his biggest hobby was spending time with his family. Sidney was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, he was a loyal friend, who loved his annual beach trips with his family. He also loved his extended family. He will be greatly missed.
He is preceded in death by his wife Rebecca Ann (Becky) Hinson Tucker, brothers Kermit Tucker, Herman Tucker.
Survivors include his daughter Amy Tucker Reddick and husband Steven of Lake Wales, FL, son Mark Tucker and wife Donna of Lake Wales, FL, brother George Tucker of Concord, NC, 3 grandchildren Joshua Stripling and wife Breanna, Jessica Wilson and husband Caleb, Sydney Tucker, 6 great grandchildren Ella, Audrey, Brenna, Aubrey, Jared, and Weston and beloved extended family Jackson (Amanda), Douglas, Palmer, Levi (Melanie) and their children Brynnlee and Laynnie, Lacee and her daughter Olivia.

Funeral service will be held 6:00PM Friday, August 31, 2018 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home Lake Wales with Rev. Keith Thompson officiating.
