Sidney Clement Rogers

Sidney Clement Rogers, 69 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at his residence.

He was born on June 21, 1946 in Marion, South Carolina to the late Joe and Eva Inez (Turner) Rogers and he has been a resident of this area for 13 years. He was a retired welder and was a member of the New Harvest Worship Center. Sidney was a Vietnam veteran serving in the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Rogers in 2013
He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Chauvot of New Jersey, Tanya Rogers Berry of South Carolina; son, Sidney Ira Rogers of Lake Wales; sisters, Betty Rogers, Bobbie Jean James, Cherry Rogers, Gail Duckett and Judy Allen; brother, Dan Rogers; 8 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
