Sibyl S. McKenzie 97, of Bartow, Florida passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at The Grove Center.
She was born on October 16, 1919 in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Noah Jefferson and Alice (Davis) Smith and she has been a resident this area since 1997 moving here from Frostproof. She was a retired Insurance Underwriter. Sibyl graduated from Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville, Florida and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof .

She was preceded in Death by her husband, Morris Emory McKenzie and son, Charlie McDonald.
She is survived by her son, James G. McDonald of Marietta, GA; 6 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 1:00 PM Monday, December 12, 2016 with funeral services at 2:00 PM at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating. Interment will be held at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
