SHIRLIE WHIDDEN HELMS, 71
WAVERLY--Shirlie Whidden Helms, 71 of Waverly, FL died Friday, April 13, 2007 residence.
Born September 14, 1935 in Pahokee, FL, she was a life long residence of the area. She was a member of First Baptist of Waverly. She liked to go to yard sales and loved to fish.
Survivors include her daughter Diane Durham of Waverly, FL; Son Victor Taylor of Eagle Lake, FL ; Step daughter Julie Jones of Tennessee; Sister Virgie Farmer of Babson Park, FL, and five grandchildren; Amanda Gamble, Jessica Tucker, Shana Durham, David Durham Jr., and Fayth Martin.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Estelle Whidden; sister Quillie Boyd; step son Donnie Helms and granddaughter Jennifer Taylor.
Visitation will be held from 10:00AM until service time at 11:00AM, Monday, April 16, 2007 at Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales, FL.
