Shirley Ann Stenke

Shirley Ann Stenke of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at her residence.

She was born June 30, 1928 in Hamburg, MI to the late William & Elsie (Navarre) Gray; and came here from Mount Morris, MI 14 years ago. She was a retired inspector for Advance Stamping Company and of the Lutheran faith.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Bernice Deacon and Dana Darrow. Survivors include her husband, Arthur L. Stenke; daughters, Jane DeWolf (Charles) of Hamburg, MI and Judy McCormick (Bill) of Howell, MI; sons, Jim Stenke (Diane) of Clareston, MI and John Stenke of Nashville, TN; sister, Ella Mae Anosivich of Ann Arbor, MI; brother, Bill Gray Sr. of Pine Hurst, NC; 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild and her dog, Mia.
