Shirley A. Johnson

Shirley A. Johnson of Lake Wales passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at her residence.

She was born August 27, 1947 in Van Buren, AR to the late Robert L. & Mary Frances Stewart; she came here in 1957 from Arkansas. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed fishing, cooking and helping/caring for others.

Shirley was preceded in death by her brother, Junior Stewart. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Ronnie Johnson; daughter, Cindy Ann Jones and her husband, David of Bald Knob, AR; one grandson, Justin Lee Stanphill; and one great-grandchild, Jaxen Stanphill.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home and the graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Lake Wales Cemetery.
