Shirley J. Hignight

Shirley J. Hignight of Lake Wales passed away Friday, April 8, 2016 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center.

She was born June 24, 1935 in Calexico, CA to the late Joseph & Cisero Goff; she came to Lake Wales from Oceanside, CA 2 years ago. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. She was an avid walker.

Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, John Hignight, two sisters and three brothers. Survivors include her sons, Joe Hignight and wife, Diane of Lake Wales and John Hignight and wife, Denise of Reno, NV; five grandchildren and two great-grandchild.

A private family service will be held at a later date.
