Shirley Jean Walters Harroun, 92

Shirley Jean Walters Harroun of Wates Edge passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan. Shirley and her husband Dick were married for 44 ½ years until his passing on November 28, 2017. She worked as a Field Representative for Equifax for 25 years. She was of the Methodist faith. Shirley enjoyed playing golf and resided at the Lake Wales Country Club before moving to Water’s Edge in December of 2015. Her other interests were playing bridge and mah-jongg.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Bonnie Walters; and sons, Robert and Allen Crampton. She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Lenny) Makowski; daughter in law, Penny Crampton; Dicks daughters, Gayle (Charles) Farnam, and Bobbi Edwards; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren between the both of them.

No services are scheduled at this time. Inurnment will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery with Dick.
