Shirlee Gervaise Cash, 88

Shirlee Gervaise Cash of Sarasota passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at the Manor of Lake Jackson in Sebring.

She was born January 10, 1933 in Avon Park to the late Bethel and Mary Hill and graduated from Avon Park High School in 1950. She married Daniel Cash Sr. in 1953 and moved to Cincinnati, Ohio. While in Cincinnati, Shirlee worked for the Baldwin Piano Co., Proctor and Gamble and Hamilton County. After returning to Florida 1983, she worked for Sarasota County as a Real Property Agent until she retired in 2009.

Shirlee is survived by her sons, Daniel Cash Jr. and wife Annmarie of Frostproof, and David Cash and wife Lucinda of Myakka City; sisters, Betty Sullivan of Laguna Niguel, California, and Caryl Ryan of Avon Park; brother Zane Hill of Sebring; and four grandchildren.

Shirlee had an intense love for her family and friends and was ever the protector of those she loved. She will be forever in our memories until we can be with her once again.

Funeral Services will be held at the Robert Toale & Sons Funeral Home on Sunday, April 11 from 12-4pm in Sarasota, Florida.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association at www.lbda.org.
