Shellie Lee Nicholson, Jr.

S.L. Nicholson, Jr., 90 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Auburndale.

He was born on April 4, 1925 in Homestead, Florida to the late Shellie Lee and Carolyn (Tyson) Nicholson, Sr. and he has been a resident of this area since 1945 moving here from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He was a retired Tile and Marble Fitter. S.L. was a member of the Sheriffs Association, served in the US Navy during WWII and was of the Presbyterian faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Annetta Gatlin Nicholson; son, Donald Lee Nicholson; daughter, Carolyn Beth Nicholson and sister, Maxine Connor.

Survivors include his Brother, Doyle Alton Nicholson of Jacksonville; Daughter-in-Law, Barbara A. Goehring; 1 grandchild and 1 great grandchild.
