FROSTPROOF -- Mrs. Sheila D. Chatlos of Frostproof died at home Tuesday (Aug. 29, 2006) of complications of diabetes. She was 54.
Born in Gadsden, Ala., on Nov. 1, 1951, she came to Frostproof from there at a young age. She was a longtime employee for Bagwell Lumber and Badcock Furniture. She was a member of Beta Signi Phi Sorority and the Frostproof Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Frostproof where she was in the Ladies Auxiliary.
Mrs. Chatlos is survived by her husband, Raymond E. Chatlos Jr.; daughter, Amanda Rae Chatlos, Frostproof; father and stepmother, Clifford "Billy" and Marilene Brooks, Frostproof; brother, Howard Branch, Frostproof.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Church of the Ridge in Frostproof. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday the church. Burial will follow in Silver Hill Cemetery in Frostproof.
