Shawn L. Bryant

Shawn L. Bryant, 43, of Lake Wales, Florida passed away January 15, 2015 at his residence.

He was born February 11, 1971 in Lake Wales, Florida to Roy and Beth Marie Marvel Bryant and has been a lifelong resident of the area. He was a mechanic for Florida’s Natural Growers. Shawn loved spending time with his grandchildren, enjoyed mountain bikes, radio controlled boats and cars, 4 wheelers, working with his hands, archery, fishing, guns and target shooting and scuba diving.

He is preceded in death by his father, Roy Bryant and sister, Elizabeth Bryant.

Survivors include his wife, Kristi Bryant; mother, Beth Marie Bryant of Lake Wales; daughters, Whitney Porreca and husband, Caleb of Lake Wales, Ashley Bryant of Lake Wales; sons, Timothy Bryant and wife, Adrian of Winter Haven, Kevin Bryant of Lake Wales; sisters, Holly Britt and husband, Randell of Lake Wales, Christy Smith and husband, Shawn of Lake Wales; brothers, Isaiah Bryant of Lake Wales, Johnny Bryant and wife, Teresa Bryant of Lake Wales; 2 grandchildren, Savannah and Wesley “Tank” Porreca.

Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday, January 19, 2015 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Pastor Frank Hawley and John Marvel officiating. Interment will be held at Lake Wales Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 until service time.
