Sharon Rose Letson

Sharon Rose Foor Letson of Avon Park, FL passed away Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Highlands Regional Medical.

She was born August 21, 1944 in Columbus, OH to the late Robert Elmer Motley & Mary Elizabeth Motley; Sharon and her husband were winter residents for five years coming to Frostproof, FL from Westerville, OH before permanently moving to Avon Park, FL 1 ½ years ago. She was retired from Honda in Marysville, OH and a member of the First Baptist Church of Frostproof.

Sharon was preceded in death by her brothers, William and Robert Motley. Survivors include her husband of 10 years, Richard F. Letson; daughters, Angela Hunter-Edwards and husband, Ron Edwards of Micanopy, FL and Johnna and husband, David Lechler of Gainesville, FL; son, Christopher Foor of Columbus, OH; step-daughters, Kelly and husband, Richard Dunham of Michigan and Jody Smith of Ohio; step-sons, Richard L. Letson of Ohio and Steven and wife, Emi Letson of Washington; sisters, Joanne Robinson of California, Susan Stewart of Ohio and Geneva Everett of Ohio; 16 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews

Visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until the funeral service at 2:00 pm Monday, May 20, 2013 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof with Rev. Darrol Hood officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer’s Association
