Sharon Lee Baker, 81, of Frostproof, Florida passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Advent health in Davenport.
She was born July 30, 1940, in Flint, Michigan to the late Floyd W. and Marjorie Georgene (Wheeler) Ostrom and she has been a resident of this area for 4 years moving back here from Tennessee. Sharon was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved gardening, sewing, knitting, crocheting, crafts, reading, Genealogy collecting, cooking, baking, loved Christmas, bargain shopping and caring for her dog sweetie.
she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Baker, Sr. in 2010 and her son, Donald Baker in 2006.
Survivors include her, sons, Ronald Jay Baker, Jr, (Lynda) of Clarkesville, Tennessee, Thomas Jacobsen (Carla Despault-Jacobsen) of Plano, Texas; daughter, Shirley Ashkinaz (Craig) of San Dimas, CA; 8 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and her puppy Sweetie whom she loved spending time with.
Memorial services will be held 2:00 PM via zoom on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
