Shannon Jason Cables

Shannon Jason Cables, 46 of Lake Wales, Florida passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

He was born June 13, 1971 in Plant City, Florida; he has been a residence of this area for 25 years moving here from Lithia, Florida. He was a Journeyman Lineman for C&C Power. Shannon loved hunting and fishing when he was not traveling for work. He also enjoyed carpentry work and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survived by his wife, Shannon Dawn Cables of 25 years; daughter, Lexy Cables of Lake Wales; brother, Clayton Cables of Plant City; father, Russ Cables of Gallipolis, OH and mother, Sandra Waldron of Jasper, FL.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday January 26, 2018 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Charles G. Thornton officiating. Interment will follow at the Lake Wales Memorial Gardens.
