WINTER HAVEN -- Mrs. Selma M. "Sally" Rother Leishman of Lake Wales died of complications from surgery Sunday (Sept. 25, 2005) at Winter Haven Hospital. She was 78.

Born Feb. 11, 1927, in Oxford, Pa., she came here from Millsboro, Del., in 1997. She was a homemaker. She was a Protestant.

Mrs. Leishman is survived by her husband, Howard A. Leishman; daughters, Marianne Havens, Wilmington, Del., Suzanne Hoedl, Princeton, N.J., Karen Lynn Quisenberry, Roanoke, Va.; sisters, Gladys Holmes, Palm Harbor, Jessie Melton, Longwood, Cora Fitzgerald, Oxford, Pa., Myrtle Gleeson, Middletown, Del.; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Tower Lakes Clubhouse.
