Sarah Agnes Hames, 80

Sarah Agnes Hames of Frostproof passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at her residence.

She was born October 31, 1940 in Mayo, South Carolina to the late Olin and Estelle Gossett; she moved to Frostproof from Port Saint Lucie in 2002. Sarah was a homemaker and a member of the Frostproof Church of God.

Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hames in 2005; son, Dennis Hames in 2016; and brothers, John Gossett, Cecil Gossett, Albert Gossett, and Odell Gossett. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Fitzpatrick (Michael) of Frostproof; sons, David Hames; brother, Howard Gossett (Merle) of Chesnee, South Carolina; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2021 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Frostproof. A graveside service will follow the visitation at Silver Hill Cemetery.
