LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Sarah E. Barker of Lake Wales died of heart failure Monday (May 1, 2006) at The Grove Center of Lake Wales. She was 92.

Born in Hamilton County, Ind., on April 12, 1914, she came to Lake Wales from Noblesville, Ind., in 1980. She was a homemaker. She was a member of First Christian Church of Babson Park and was a pianist at Refuge Christian Church in Noblesville.

Mrs. Barker was preceded in death by her husband, Edward G. Barker. She is survived by her daughters, Nerita Fisher, Lake Wales, Nancy S. Webb, Resselaer, Ind.; sister, Esther M. Worl, Noblesville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held later under the direction of Randall and Roberts Funeral Home, Noblesville, Ind. Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church of Babson Park.
