Sandy R. Fischer

Sandy R. Fischer of Lake Wales passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 at her residence.

She was born August 11, 1936 in Allen Park, MI to the late Milton and Thelma (Grant) Winters, and came to Lake Wales from Hamburg, MI in 2001. She was a homemaker, a member of the First Assembly of God in Lake Wales, volunteer for Hamburg Fire Department Women's Unit, a member of the Florida Fly Wheeler Association, and Roving Volunteers in Christ Service.

Survivors include her husband, David Fischer; daughters, Terrie Mahar of Lake Wales, Penny Dodrill of Canton, OH, Kimberly Barbar of Byron Center, MI, Diane Strong of Stockbridge, MI; sons, Bradley Fischer of Dexter, MI, Kevin Fischer of South West, IA, Scott Fischer of Dexter, MI; 22 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, June 29, 2009 at the First Assembly of God in Lake Wales, with Rev. Walter Nelson and Rev. A. J. Steverson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kids Zone, First Assembly of God, 1201 Burns Avenue, Lake Wales, Florida 33853.
