Sandra F. Thornton

Sandra F. Thornton of Fort Meade passed away Friday, July 10, 2009 at The Crossroads in Davenport.

She was born August 11, 1955 in Wauchula to Robert Littleton & Freda Lee (Whitehead) Rhodes; she came to Lake Wales as a child. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed reading and puzzles.

Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Robert Littleton Rhodes and sisters, Frances Rhodes and Theresa Davis. Survivors include her daughter, Michele Lee Duran of Bellevue, NE; son, Randal Hoffman of Fort Meade; mother, Freda L. Rhodes of Fort Meade; sister, Tammy Mills of Lake Wales; brothers, Robert Lamar Rhodes of Lake Wales and James Edward Bennett of St. Pete; and three grandchildren.
