Sandra “Sandy” Griffis, 63

Sandra “Sandy” Griffis of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024, at her residence.

She was born September 17, 1961, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania to the late Wilmer and Julia Sauder; she moved to Lake Wales from Bradenton three years ago. Sandy grew up in Sarasota. She was a cashier for Rural King and was of the Catholic faith. She was a fan of Nascar and collected Nick Naks. Sandy was a passionate person who gave to her family and friends. She loved music, especially her husband’s, who is a musician.

Sandy is survived by her husband of 35 years, David Griffis; sons, Robert “Bobby” Sauder, Robert “Bubba” White, Casey “CJ” Griffis, Michael Griffis, Rory Griffis, and Christopher Griffis; and ten grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, October 18th, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM followed by the funeral service. Psalm 23:4  "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me".
