Sandra D. Beza

Sandra D. “Meme” Beza of Frostproof passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born September 18, 1944 in Ashville, North Carolina to the late Chester C. & Robbie (Davis) Gross; she came here 30 years ago from Tampa. She attended God’s Family Assembly Church. She was a giving person and enjoyed talking on the phone, watching TV, drinking coffee and spending time her family and friends.

Sandra was preceded in death her son, Clifton Maitland Jr, sister, Betty Gross and brother, Bobby Lee Gross. Survivors include her companion, Augustine Gonzalez; daughters, Cindy Palacio of Tampa and Kimberly Hadden of Frostproof; sons, Anthony Maitland of Frostproof and Terry Davis of Pensacola; sisters, Jackie Henson of Ashville, NC and Jean Thomas of Sand Ridge, NC; brothers, Donny Gross of Lake Wales, Danny Gross of Ashville, NC and Jimmy Gross of Beauford, GA; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 07, 2009 at God’s Family Assembly Church with Rev. Wrynn Collins officiating.
