Samuel Rivera

Samuel Rivera of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, July 17, 2011 at his residence.

He was born November 27, 1943 in Juncos, Puerto Rico to the late Natividad Rivera and Christina Agosto; he came here from Puerto Rico 7 years ago. He was a self employed handyman and of the Jehovah's Witness faith. He was a musician and enjoyed playing guitar, singing and helping people.

Survivors include his wife, Luz Cruz Rivera; daughters, Luz I. Rosado (Albert) of West Palm Beach and Janet Rivera Arrocho (Elvin) of Kentucky; sons, Samuel E. Rivera (Roxanna) of Coral Springs and Samuel Rivera of Puerto Rico; sisters, Luz Maria Rivera and Nelida Rivera both of Puerto Rico; brothers, Raul Rivera and Robert Rivera both of Puerto Rico; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until the funeral service at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales.
