Sam Waters

Sam Waters of Bartow passed away Sunday, April 5, 2009 in Lake Wales.

He was born February 2, 1970 in Lake Wales; he was a lifelong resident. He was of the Pentecostal faith, loved riding motorcycles and wrestling with his children.

Sam was preceded in death by his brother, Clint Waters and step-father, Glenn D. Phillips. Survivors include his wife of 14 years, Jennifer Waters; daughters, Tayler Waters, Brittany Waters and Briauna Waters; son, Caleb Waters; father, Harry Gilbert Waters of Lake Wales; mother, Jonnie Phillips of Bartow; many uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews, including Dustin and Bailey Waters.

Funeral service will be held 4:00 PM, Friday, April 10, 2009 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home in Lake Wales with visitation starting at 2:30 PM. Interment will follow at the Whidden Cemetery in Bartow.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
