Ruth Jo Ann Sternquist, 81

Ruth Jo Ann Sternquist of Lake Wales passed away Sunday, April 30, 2023 at AdventHealth Lake Wales.

She was born July 1, 1941 in Denver, Colorado to the late Freddie M. and Kathryn E. (Swabb) Stotts; she came here from Punta Gorda 17 years ago. She was retired from Federal Reserve Bank and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed making jewelry and traveling in the RV. She loved Jesus and was a mother to all.

Survivors include her husband of 34 years, Larry Sternquist; daughter, Laura Murphy; sons, Paul Murphy, Jeffrey Murphy, Mark Murphy and Michael Sternquist; step-children, Suzi Sternquist, Sonjia Bass, and Steve Sternquist; and 4 grandchild and 4 great grandchildren.
