Ruth Erma Richardson

Ruth E. Richardson of Fedhaven, FL went home to be with the Lord Thursday, April 18, 2013 at the Lake Wales Medical Center.

She was born September 21, 1930 in Harmony Township, NJ to the late Roy H. & Nellie M. Miller; and she moved to Florida from Lawrence, MA in 1994. After retiring as a teacher, she worked as a lunch room aide in Massachusetts. She faithfully served the Lord Jesus for many years in various ministries. She loved children and taught Sunday School, Children’s Church and AWANA in Massachusetts. She was a member and treasurer of the Community Baptist Church in Fedhaven, FL; she also attended Trinity Baptist Church, where she was involved with the Keenagers. She enjoyed genealogy, puzzles and reading. She was a devoted wife, mother & grandmother.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Varnum B. Richardson; daughters, Wendi Winkler (David) of GA, Cheryl Reichl (Bill) of PA, Leeann Long (Doug) of PA, Donna Ouellette (Mike) of ME and Cathy Rogers (Jeff) of FL; son, David Richardson (Susan) of NH; brother, Richard Miller of PA; sister, Lois Pfeffer of NJ; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm until the funeral service at 4:00 pm Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Trinity Baptist Church of Lake Wales with Rev. Larry Wallace officiating and Rev Horace Howell assisting.

Interment will be held at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
