Ruth Lois Edmunds

Ruth Edmunds, 81 of Frostproof, Florida passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring.

She was born May 5, 1936 in Pennsylvania to the late George and Genevieve (Martuza) Morgan and she has been a winter resident of this area for 10 years moving here from Victor, New York. She was a homemaker and worked at Joann Fabrics for many years. She also had several home-based businesses such as Mary Kay, Tupperware and Avon, she also was a member of the Red Hat Ladies and enjoyed line dancing, playing cards and making her own greeting cards. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Frostproof.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry D. Edmunds in 2012

Survivors include her daughters, Diane Smith (Mark) of Farmington, NY, Denise Krug (James) of Victor, NY; sons, Darryl Edmunds of Victor, NY, Duane Edmunds ( Linda) of Pittsford, NY; brothers, Harry Morgan of Warren, NJ, David Morgan of Frostproof; 3 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at a later date in New York.
