Russell M. Duty, Sr. of Ocoee, (formerly of Frostproof) passed away Thursday, November 29, 2012 at the Ocoee Health Care Center in Ocoee, Florida.

He was born August 29, 1930 in Wyandotte, Michigan to the late Edward D. and Emma (Alten) Duty; He was a retired Self Employed Mechanic for United Airlines, a veteran of Korea serving in the US Navy and was of the Baptist faith.

Russell was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen J. Duty and second wife, Madeline M. Duty

Survivors include his daughter, Cindy Duty of Huntersville, TN; son, Russell M. Duty, Jr. of Ocoee, FL; brothers, Richard Duty and Edward Duty, Jr. both of Michigan; sisters, Elizabeth Lepper and Maxine Nash both Michigan; 8 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren

Memorial services will be held 5:00 PM Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Marion Nelson Funeral Home with Rev. Tom McRee officiating.
