LAKE WALES -- Mrs. Ruby M. Addison of Lake Wales died of complications from diabetes Thursday (Sept. 21, 2006) at Haines City Health Care. She was 89.

Born June 12, 1917, in St. Charles, Va., Mrs. Addison moved to Lake Wales from Virginia in 1936. She was a homemaker. She was Baptist.

Mrs. Addison was preceded in death by her first husband, James Chandler; and second husband, Guyton Addison. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Powell, Lake Wales, Barbara Gursky, Lakeland, Glenda Davis, Maiden, N.C.; sons, Johnny Addison, Warwick, N.Y., Don Chandler, Branford; 27 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Monday at Lake Wales Cemetery.
